Frequently asked questions
Do I need to book a driver separately?
No. One booking in the Aristevo app covers the private car, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking and waiting time at every stop. The trip is driven by a licensed transport company whose licence and documents we have checked.
Is a guide included?
No. Your chauffeur drives and waits for you at every stop; they do not guide you inside sites or museums. If you would like a guide, a licensed guide can be hired on site.
Are entry tickets included?
No. Tickets for archaeological sites, museums and other attractions, and food and drinks, are not included — you pay for them yourself. Each trip’s page lists the tickets it needs. Tickets for Greek state sites are sold on the official hhticket.gr and at the gate.
How much does a private day trip from Athens cost?
The price is fixed per car for the whole day, not per person, VAT included. It starts from €180 per car (Athens Highlights by Car, Economy) while the most expensive trip starts from €580 per car (Meteora in a Day). Larger cars and vans cost more; each trip’s page shows the price for every class.
Can I book for tomorrow?
Yes — day trips can be booked from tomorrow onwards. Same-day booking is not possible, because the chauffeur plans their whole day around your trip.
What time do the trips leave?
Each trip has fixed departure times, shown on its page — for example 09:00, or 17:30 for sunset at Cape Sounion in the months it runs. You choose one of them when you book.
Where does the chauffeur pick me up?
At your hotel or any address in Athens, at the departure time you chose, and brings you back there at the end of the day.
Can I cancel?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Cancel later, or miss the pick-up, and the trip is not refunded.
How do I book?
In the Aristevo app for iPhone or Android: open Day trips, choose the trip, the day, the departure time and the car, and enter where to collect you. The price is fixed and shown before you pay.
