Cookie Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026. How we use cookies and similar technologies — and how you stay in control. We never set non-essential cookies until you consent.

What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, SDKs) are small pieces of data stored on your device so the service works and remembers you. We use only what we explain here.

Strictly necessary (always on)

Sign-in and session, security and anti-fraud, remembering the booking you’re making, your language, and the referral of a partner whose page sent you. We also store your cookie choice itself here. These are first-party, kept on your device, and the service can’t work without them — so they don’t require consent.

Preferences (first-party)

To make your next booking faster we may keep your recent places and saved booking details on your device. These are first-party and never shared with anyone — you can clear them from your account or your browser at any time.

Analytics (first-party, anonymous)

We run our OWN privacy-friendly analytics — no Google Analytics, no advertising, no third party. It is anonymous and aggregate: a per-session id that changes every visit (never a persistent profile), your IP stored only as a daily one-way hash, and no cross-site tracking. We use it to see how the service is used — which pages, which cars, where people drop off — so we can improve it. It stays off until you agree: choose “Accept all” (or the “Analytics” switch) in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw at any time — as easily as you gave it. If we ever add a third-party analytics tool, it would stay off until you opt in.

Third parties

Two features load a processor only when you use them: our payment provider (Stripe) when you pay, and, if you turn on trip notifications, the browser push service. When a map or route is shown it may load map data from our maps provider. Each is used only to deliver that feature and follows its own policy. We do not embed advertising or social-media trackers.

Managing your choices

You can accept or reject non-essential categories at any time, or use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in and booking. For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy notices. Questions? admin@aristevo.com.
