Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated 9 August 2026. These terms form a binding agreement between you (the “guest”) and Aristevo. They govern your use of the Aristevo website and apps and the passenger transfers you book through them. By creating an account or making a booking, you accept them. Please read them together with our Privacy notices and Cookie Policy.
1. Who we are
“Aristevo” is a premium ground-transfer service operated by Artem Balbatunov (sole proprietorship), VAT (ΑΦΜ) 146731223, based in Piraeus, Greece. Full operator details are in our Legal Notice.
2. Definitions
“Guest” — the person booking or taking a transfer. “Provider” — an independent, licensed transport company or chauffeur that performs the ride. “Booking” — a confirmed request for a transfer. “Fare” — Aristevo’s single all-inclusive price for a booking. “Platform” — the Aristevo website and apps.
3. Acceptance & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to book. When you book for other passengers, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf and are responsible for the booking. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Platform.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in breach of these terms.
5. What Aristevo is
Aristevo operates an electronic intermediation service that connects guests with independent, licensed transport providers. Today that means chauffeur-driven cars under an ΕΙΧ με οδηγό licence, carrying up to eight passengers, and larger minibus and coach transfers performed by operators holding the licence required for that vehicle size. Aristevo sells the journey in its own name and at its own price: we add no separate booking or service fee — we buy the transport from an independent licensed operator at our own cost and sell you the journey at the single all-inclusive price you see. The transport itself is performed by that operator under its own licence and insurance, and the operator remains solely responsible for the driving and the vehicle.
6. Bookings & fares
Rides are pre‑booked; a minimum advance‑booking time applies. Fares are fixed and all‑inclusive at the time of booking — covering distance, tolls, parking and the included waiting time — and are inclusive of Greek VAT (13%). The fare is Aristevo’s single price for your journey: there is no separate booking or service fee. The total price, inclusive of VAT, is shown before you confirm. Additional charges (waiting beyond the included window, extra stops, extra luggage, child seats, airport Meet & Greet, or a no‑show) are itemised and shown before they are applied.
A booking is a binding order: by confirming, you agree to pay the fare shown. A booking is complete only when we confirm it; if we cannot fulfil a request, we will tell you and not charge you for it.
7. Changes to prices & conditions
We may change our prices and service conditions from time to time. Any change applies only to new bookings made after it takes effect; the price and conditions of a booking you have already confirmed are fixed for that ride and are never changed retroactively. Material changes are published in advance with an updated effective date.
8. Waiting time, flights & delays
Free waiting time is 40 minutes for airport and port pickups and 15 minutes elsewhere, counted from the scheduled pickup time. For airport pickups where you give us a flight number, we track the flight: if it lands late, we move the pickup time forward by the delay, and your free waiting time and any no‑show window are counted from that adjusted time — so you are never penalised for your airline. Waiting beyond the free window is charged at the rate shown before it applies. Delays automatically move your pickup time to match your flight — you are never penalised for your airline. Where a tracked delay moves the pickup by more than 2 hours, the new time is re-confirmed with the assigned chauffeur; if they cannot keep it, your ride is reassigned to another chauffeur at the new time. If the airline cancels the flight, the booking is cancelled and the full fare is refunded to you.
9. Cancellations, changes & no‑show
Cancellations made more than one hour before the scheduled pickup are free. Less than one hour before pickup, or once your chauffeur is on the way, a 100% fee applies. Where a delay is caused by a tracked flight, we assess it fairly and do not penalise you for your airline. A passenger no‑show after the free waiting time has elapsed may be charged the fare.
Need to move your pickup time? You can change it yourself up to twice, by up to two hours earlier or later than the time you booked, and until 30 minutes before pickup — but no longer once your chauffeur is on the way. A bigger change — a different route, more passengers or luggage, or a different vehicle class — changes the price and the vehicle assigned, so it is handled as a new booking: cancel under the policy above and rebook, or contact support and we will help.
If a ride is marked as a no‑show and you believe that is wrong — for example you were at the pickup point but you and the chauffeur did not find one another — you can dispute it with support within 24 hours. Where the evidence shows that both you and the chauffeur were there but the ride did not take place, we refund you.
10. Payment, receipts & outstanding balances
Payment is taken securely via our payment processor using the card you save in the app. By booking you authorise the charge for the agreed fare and any itemised extras. A receipt — or a company invoice (τιμολόγιο) on request — is issued in compliance with myDATA. Refunds for cancelled, paid rides follow the cancellation policy above and are made to your original payment method.
Where you cancel a paid booking yourself under the free-cancellation policy, the refund may be reduced by the card-processing cost which the payment provider charged on the original payment and does not return on refunds. The exact amount is read from the payment itself — never estimated — and is shown to you at the time of the refund. This deduction never applies when a cancellation or refund is caused by us or by the chauffeur service: in that case you are always refunded in full.
If an itemised additional charge (for example, waiting time beyond the included window, verified by the chauffeur) cannot be collected from your saved card at the time, it becomes an outstanding balance. We may retry the card and remind you by email with a link to settle it, and — while it remains unpaid — we will show it to you clearly and ask you to settle it before or together with your next booking (“pay and continue”). Any such amount is always itemised and disclosed to you upfront and requires your active confirmation; it is never added silently, we do not block a new booking over an amount you dispute, and you may query it with support.
11. Promotions, credits & referrals
We may offer promo codes, credits or referral rewards. Unless stated otherwise, these have no cash value, cannot be combined, apply only to eligible bookings and may be withdrawn or expire. We may cancel credits or rewards obtained through abuse, self‑referral or fraud.
12. Conduct & standards
Guests agree to be ready on time, provide accurate details (including a flight number where relevant), wear seatbelts, and treat chauffeurs and vehicles with respect. Smoking, illegal substances, and behaviour that is abusive or endangers safety are not permitted; a chauffeur may end a ride on safety grounds. You are responsible for any damage you or your party cause to a vehicle beyond fair wear, and for the reasonable cost of cleaning where you or your party soil it (for example a spillage or sickness). This is a matter between you and the provider, who must document any such damage or soiling with clear evidence — for example photographs — at the time. On the strength of that evidence, and using the card you keep on file, we may charge the reasonable cost to that card on the provider’s behalf; the charge is itemised and shown to you, and you may raise a genuine dispute with support, which passes it to the provider. We may suspend any account that breaches these obligations or that we suspect of fraud.
13. Luggage, child seats, accessibility & pets
Each vehicle class has a stated luggage and passenger capacity; please book the right class and tell us of extra luggage, child seats, wheelchair or accessibility needs, or pets in advance so the right vehicle is assigned. Requests made only on the day cannot always be met. If you arrive with more passengers or luggage than you booked and the assigned vehicle cannot carry them safely and legally, the chauffeur will carry only what was booked and help you arrange another vehicle at your own cost; where a larger vehicle can take the extra, any resulting price difference is shown to you for approval before the ride. Pets must be declared when booking and must travel in a suitable carrier, crate or cage. A chauffeur may decline to carry an animal that was not declared in advance, and the ride may then be treated as a no-show. Guide dogs and other assistance animals are always welcome, travel free of charge, need no carrier, and are never a ground for refusal.
14. Lost property
If you leave something behind, contact us as soon as possible at info@aristevo.com and we will help coordinate with the provider to recover and return it. Return may involve a delivery cost. We cannot guarantee recovery and are not liable for items left in a vehicle.
15. Right of withdrawal
Passenger transport on a specific date is exempt from the 14‑day distance‑selling withdrawal right under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 3(3)(k)). Your ability to cancel is instead governed by our cancellation policy in section 9. This does not affect your other mandatory consumer rights.
16. Liability
The transport service is provided by the independent provider, who holds the required licences and insurance and is responsible for the driving and the vehicle. Aristevo’s liability is limited to its role as intermediary and, to the extent permitted by Greek and EU law, to the amount paid for the affected booking. We are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
17. Intellectual property
The Aristevo name, logo, Platform and content are our property or licensed to us and are protected by law. You may use the Platform only to browse and book our services; you may not copy, scrape, resell or misuse it.
18. Data protection
We process personal data in line with the GDPR. Because each role shares different data with us, we keep a dedicated privacy notice for each — see our Privacy notices and our Cookie Policy.
19. Complaints & dispute resolution
For any complaint, email info@aristevo.com and we’ll aim to respond promptly. If we cannot resolve it, consumers may contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή), an alternative dispute resolution body. Nothing here affects your right to bring proceedings before the competent courts.
20. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens, Greece have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer‑protection rights or the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence where the law allows.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force when you book governs that booking. We publish material changes in advance with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
22. Regulatory status
Aristevo operates as an electronic intermediation platform under the framework of Greek Law 4530/2018, intermediating only for independent, licensed providers — currently ΕΙΧ με οδηγό and larger passenger vehicles. Rides and rental contracts are registered in the Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport digital registry as required, and minimum advance‑booking and other EIX rules apply. Each provider is responsible for holding its own licence, insurance and roadworthiness (ΚΤΕΟ), which we verify at onboarding.
