An offer is taken by the company, so you are not depending on whichever driver happens to be looking at a screen. Once it is yours, you name the driver and the car — and you can change that choice as your day moves, right up until the ride begins.

A driver must be named before the pickup rather than at the kerb. If a ride you accepted is still unstaffed as the time approaches you are warned first, and only then does it return to the market — so a guest is never left waiting for a car nobody was assigned to.

Offers are matched to the regions you serve and to the classes of car you actually run, then ordered by how close you are and how well you have been rated. You are not shown a wall of everything and left to fight for it.

A journey counts as yours if either end of it is in your region — the airport run that starts on your doorstep and finishes three hours away is offered to you just the same as the one coming back.

Office staff get their own logins rather than sharing yours. Access is built from what a person actually does — someone who dispatches, someone who handles the accounts, someone who does both — and the permissions add up rather than forcing you to choose a single job title.

Drivers see their own work and nothing else: the rides assigned to them, the guest they are meeting, and what the ride pays.

Each car carries its own licence, insurance and safety inspection, each driver their own papers, and the console shows you what is in date and what is about to run out. A car whose insurance has lapsed stops being offered work before anyone has to notice.

Rides accumulate against the company, not against individual drivers, so there is one monthly statement and one payout rather than a reconciliation exercise. The invoices behind it are raised for you.
